A Christian school in Afienya, Ghana β where orphaned and vulnerable children receive a quality education, two warm meals a day, and a future full of hope.

At Emperor Academy we believe education is the foundation of a life well lived. Our mission is to encourage, guide and support every student according to their individual needs β finding success in each child, in some way, every single day.
The school exists because too many children in this community could not go to school at all: their families simply could not afford the fees. So we built a place where children receive an education, two meals a day, and somewhere safe to learn while their mothers work.
We teach in English with French as a second language, and we welcome everyone, regardless of their family's ability to pay. Many of our children have lost one or both parents; here they find teachers, meals, safety and belonging.
Our vision is simple: a school that is attractive and functional, led by experienced and caring people, with a positive, balanced staff β so every child has a genuine chance to reach their potential and become a lifelong learner.
See how we started βEmperor Academy opened on 1 October 2013 with thirteen children β nine boys and four girls β in a former poultry barn that had no roof until the ministry replaced it. Today we own our land, and the campus has classrooms, a security wall, electricity and a hand pump for water.

What began as an act of faith with thirteen children has grown into an established school community. Every classroom, wall and water tap tells a story of endurance β 13 years of showing up for the children of Afienya.
Some of our former students have come back eight to ten years later simply to thank the staff for the start they were given. That is the real measure of this work.

Emperor Academy runs on remarkably little. A gift through our parent ministry, Serving Christ Ministries, provides meals, teachers and classrooms for children who need them most.
